TXShare Cooperative Purchasing Program

TXShare is a cooperative purchasing program available to Texas public agencies and other eligible governmental entities.

Authority for participation is derived from:

  • Texas Government Code Chapter 791 (Interlocal Cooperation Act)
  • Texas Government Code § 271.101 (Cooperative Purchasing)

Public agencies join TXShare by executing an Interlocal Agreement or participation agreement, thereby authorizing the agency to utilize competitively solicited master agreements in accordance with state law.

Alliance for Innovation (AFI) Cooperative Program

Alliance for Innovation (AFI) facilitates cooperative purchasing opportunities for participating public entities under the authority of:

  • Texas Government Code Chapter 791
  • Texas Government Code § 271.101

Participation is authorized through execution of an Interlocal Agreement and/or participation addendum consistent with the Interlocal Cooperation Act. Contracts made available through AFI are competitively solicited in accordance with applicable Texas procurement statutes.
