Civic Marketplace is an innovative procurement platform designed to help local governments streamline purchasing, save time, and ensure full compliance with procurement regulations. We host industry-leading cooperative purchasing contracts awarded through multiple cooperative partners, including TXShare (a program of the North Central Texas Council of Governments), Alliance for Innovation (AFI), Michigan Municipal Services Authority (MMSA), and others across the country.

By working with multiple cooperative purchasing partners, we provide access to a broad range of pre-vetted suppliers and legally compliant cooperative contracts, ensuring governments can buy with confidence.

Is my organization eligible to purchase through the TXShare program?

An organization is eligible to participate if it is:

  • A county; an incorporated city, municipality, town, or village
  • An authority, district or other political subdivision of the state
  • A non-profit organization providing governmental services

Most public sector and quasi-governmental entities qualify to use cooperative purchasing contracts.

Do I need to be a member of a specific cooperative or regional council to participate?

If a cooperative purchasing partner requires an interlocal agreement, we provide guidance and documentation so participating organizations can easily meet the requirement needed to leverage one of the available contracts.

How does Civic Marketplace ensure contracts are compliant?

We collaborate with cooperative purchasing partners that use competitive, transparent, and compliant procurement processes. Each partner provides full solicitation documentation, contract terms, and legal compliance materials so agencies can confidently purchase under applicable procurement rules.
